Site Supervisor – Public Bonds & Projects

About the role

The Site Supervisor will lead the site team at Public Bonds & Projects, ensuring that daily operations align with organisational goals and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge of power plant systems, and the ability to manage personnel effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to technicians, operators, and other site personnel.
• Supervise day‑to‑day activities, assign tasks, set priorities and monitor progress.
• Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to address performance issues and risks.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, and apply corrective actions to mitigate hazards.
• Facilitate regular meetings and briefings to review progress and update the team on project status.

Required profile

• Mechanical diploma (N6) and Mechanical Fitting trade qualification (NCT4 or equivalent).
• Supervisory training and trade test in boilermaking, welding and fitting.
• Minimum three years experience on a power plant and its auxiliaries.
• At least three years of supervisory experience in a power station environment.
• Grade 12 education; safety training is advantageous.
