Site Manager – Public Bonds & Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead operations at our power station site in Witbank. The role involves overseeing daily activities, ensuring safety compliance, and driving performance against strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational plans and strategies to achieve site‑specific goals.
• Oversee day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring smooth execution of processes and workflows.
• Provide leadership and direction to the site team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, regulators, and community members.
• Act as liaison between the site and other departments to facilitate cross‑functional communication and coordination.
• Develop and manage the site budget, aligning expenditures with strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Mechanical National Diploma or N6, plus a project management qualification.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience, preferably in a power station environment.
• Proven people‑management and leadership abilities.
• Experience in site planning, scheduling, and pre‑project communication with clients and head office.
• Valid driver’s licence and a clear criminal record.
