SHEQ Officer - Brackenfell, Cape Town

About the role

Adcorp is seeking a SHEQ Officer to join ADfusion Contract Management Services and ensure supply‑chain operations run safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate SHEQ service providers and verify compliance with regional regulations.
• Organise and document SHEQ meetings, maintain document control and oversee contractor compliance.
• Conduct accident investigations, risk assessments and issue non‑conformances.
• Monitor audit findings, recommend corrective actions and update the SHEQ management system.
• Maintain safety files, training registers and control registers across sites.
• Develop employee awareness, deliver regular SHEQ training and ensure first‑aider, firefighter and hazardous‑material training is current.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial management for SHEQ activities.
• Manage client relationships, communicate feedback and resolve queries promptly.

Required profile

• National Senior Certificate / Matric.
• SAMTRAC Certificate or equivalent occupational SHE training.
• National Diploma or equivalent in Health & Safety Management.
• First Aid Level 2 and Fire Prevention Certificate.
• Registered Professional Construction Health & Safety Officer (SACPCMP).
• Minimum 1–2 years experience monitoring and auditing contractor safety performance.
• Experience implementing OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 in a complex industrial environment.
