Service Team Leader

About the role

The Service Team Leader is responsible for the national coordination and execution of post‑delivery and after‑sales service activities for Lucy Electric South Africa. The role ensures service delivery is planned, resourced, executed and reported in line with customer commitments, safety standards and contractual obligations, while providing operational leadership to Service Technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate national service activities including commissioning, maintenance, site work, repairs and warranty interventions.
• Allocate Service Technicians based on skills, certifications, availability, location and safety requirements.
• Ensure service activities meet customer requirements, contractual commitments and agreed timelines.
• Coordinate site access, permits, tools, spares and documentation for efficient execution.
• Oversee execution of service work to ensure safety, efficiency and quality standards.
• Act as primary escalation point for service delivery issues, delays or complex technical challenges.
• Provide technical guidance and operational support to Service Technicians.
• Serve as operational contact for customers on service delivery matters and align communication with Sales.

Required profile

• National scope role requiring regular travel across South Africa.
• Leadership responsibility for three Service Technicians.
• Accountable for effective utilization of service resources and control of service‑related costs.
