Service Consultant

About the role

The Service Consultant will educate clients on digital and self‑service solutions, process cash transactions, and perform first‑line device maintenance. Working on‑site at Grenstone Mall, you will ensure smooth queue flow, support customers with online applications, and maintain the availability of cash and ATM devices.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with downloading applications, resolving login issues, and purchasing value‑added services such as prepaid data and airtime.
• Provide cash transaction services, balance and replenish cash drawers, and manage branch stock including cards and consumables.
• Perform first‑line maintenance on self‑service devices and ATMs, ensuring they are operational and loaded with cash.
• Educate customers on the features and functionality of digital self‑service channels.
• Capture client interactions in the management system, identify sales leads, and refer cross‑selling opportunities to the appropriate department.
• Maintain accurate documentation, prepare transactional paperwork for inter‑bank transfers, and oversee the secure destruction of obsolete stock.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly and build lasting relationships.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow cash‑handling and security procedures.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced retail environment and managing multiple client requests.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic device issues and guide customers through digital solutions.
