SEO Analyst

About the role

Incubeta is seeking a detail‑driven SEO Analyst to support its South African clients from its Cape Town office. The role combines technical SEO expertise with client‑facing responsibilities, helping brands improve visibility across search engines.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth technical audits on large e‑commerce sites.
• Optimize on‑page elements and information architecture.
• Develop editorial and content strategies aligned with SEO goals.
• Perform ongoing monthly site maintenance and performance monitoring.
• Analyse backlink profiles and produce regular performance reports.
• Collaborate with cross‑territory teams and act as the primary SEO liaison for ZA clients.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of agency SEO experience, preferably with e‑commerce clients.
• Proven ability to manage and lead client accounts.
• Experience working with South African clients and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proactive learning attitude and solid time‑management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of Google algorithm updates.
