Senior Telecom Software Engineer

About the role

Our client seeks a highly skilled Senior Telecom Software Engineer to design, build, integrate, and operate next‑generation telecommunications platforms. You will work on scalable, high‑performance solutions across OSS/BSS domains, cloud‑native environments, and modern API‑led integration.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and support complex telecom software systems.
• Build resilient, cloud‑native platforms for customer management, product catalogues, order management, provisioning, charging, billing and analytics.
• Participate in architecture reviews, engineering governance and apply DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing and infrastructure automation.
• Develop reusable API frameworks, state‑machine orchestration engines and manage API lifecycle using TM Forum Open APIs and ODA principles.
• Support real‑time monitoring, alerting, incident response and production issue troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in telecom OSS/BSS and cloud‑native software engineering.
• Proven ability to work across mobile, fixed, FTTH, FWA, satellite and MVNO environments.
• Strong background in API‑led integration and modern platform development practices.

Required skills

• Cloud‑native development (containers, Kubernetes, micro‑services).
• DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, infrastructure automation.
• RESTful and event‑driven API design.
• TM Forum Open APIs and Open Digital Architecture (ODA) implementation.
• Experience with AI‑enabled operational efficiency improvements.
