About the role
PwC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Tax Services team in Johannesburg. The role focuses on audit of tax, tax compliance and advisory work for corporate clients, helping them meet regulatory requirements and optimise their tax positions.
Key responsibilities
- Perform tax accrual and deferred tax reviews to support income tax balance assessments on financial statements.
- Prepare and review corporate tax accounting assignments.
- Prepare, review and submit income tax and provisional tax returns.
- Draft tax opinions and structuring decks on the tax implications of transactions and restructurings.
Required profile
- BCom degree in Accounting, Financial Accounting or Law.
- CA(SA) qualification.
- At least one year post‑article experience in a tax advisory environment.
- Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
