About the role
Absa is seeking a seasoned Senior Sourcing Specialist to lead the development and nurturing of its executive talent pipeline across Africa. The role focuses on proactive talent identification and strategic engagement rather than the full recruitment cycle.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market mapping to identify top‑tier executive talent within key industries and geographies.
- Develop and maintain understanding of leadership talent trends, competitor movements, and emerging skill demands.
- Provide strategic talent landscape insights to support workforce planning and succession initiatives.
- Design and execute sophisticated sourcing strategies for niche executive roles, engaging passive candidates.
- Establish and maintain diverse executive talent pools aligned with critical leadership competencies.
- Collaborate with employer branding teams to champion Absa’s executive value proposition.
Required profile
- Proven experience in executive talent sourcing and market intelligence across pan‑African markets.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, strategic thinking, and commercial acumen.
