Senior Software Engineer (TypeScript Platform)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Product Engineering team and lead the revamp of a large API‑first platform. This is a fully remote, individual contributor position where you will shape technical direction and deliver high‑impact features for payroll, compliance, and HR products.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deliver the API‑first platform revamp, defining service boundaries, API contracts, and data models.
• Drive technical design reviews and establish engineering best practices.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of complex features across payroll, compliance, and HR surfaces.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD), testing strategies, and deployment processes.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and pair programming.
• Contribute to the technical roadmap and product strategy.
• Build and iterate on AI‑assisted workflows as part of our engineering tooling.

Required profile

• Senior‑level software engineer with strong ownership mindset.
• Experience delivering production‑grade TypeScript code using functional patterns.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Ability to influence technical direction and raise the bar through mentorship.
