Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Impact.com is building a modern, self‑service platform for products, plans, subscriptions, and billing. As a Senior Software Engineer you will design and deliver the core systems that enable customers to purchase and upgrade plans autonomously while ensuring billing is automated, accurate, and scalable.

Key responsibilities

• Own large, complex problems and deliver simple, elegant technical solutions.
• Collaborate with product, sales, and operations stakeholders to translate business needs into reliable software.
• Drive the architectural transition from a legacy monolith to a modular monolith and event‑driven services, applying pragmatic best practices.
• Champion domain‑driven design, hexagonal architecture, test‑driven development, and clean‑code principles.
• Mentor junior engineers and help raise the overall technical level of the team.
• Continuously experiment with new ideas to improve development processes.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong foundations in algorithms, data structures, distributed computing, and large‑scale system design.
