Senior Shopify Project & Account Manager (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a senior‑level professional to own the delivery of Shopify and eCommerce projects for premium online brands. This remote, freelance position works within a fast‑paced digital agency and requires strong client‑facing skills and the ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage up to 7 concurrent Shopify builds, CRO initiatives, SEO retainers and ongoing support engagements.
• Maintain project timelines, budgets, documentation and quality standards using Asana.
• Lead weekly delivery meetings, allocate tasks, conduct QA reviews and mentor junior staff.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive updates via Loom, email and meetings.
• Identify upsell and retainer opportunities and support quoting and proposal preparation.
• Improve SOPs, workflows and internal documentation for operational efficiency.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in project and account management within a digital agency or Shopify environment.
• Proven ability to handle multiple client projects simultaneously and work independently.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially minded with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences.
