Senior Registered Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Registered Nurse to lead occupational health services at Khumani Clinic in the Northern Cape. Reporting to the Unit Manager, you will ensure high‑quality primary health care and occupational health programs for mine workers.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and develop an occupational health program that supports the physical, psychological and social well‑being of employees.
• Monitor employee health through ongoing surveillance programmes in line with Mine COPs.
• Provide actionable information to minimise health risks and hazards.
• Manage the service budget and oversee smooth administration of all activities.
• Deliver primary health care services meeting Life Health Solutions and client quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with DMRE requirements, ISO 9001:2008, ISO 45001:2018 and SANS 16001:2020, including internal and external audits.

Required profile

• General Nursing qualification and registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
• Strong knowledge of occupational and primary health care services.
• Certificates in dispensing, multi‑drug testing, audiometry, spirometry and vision testing.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with COID Act reporting and administration is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, administration and employee‑relations skills.
