Senior Project Manager – Software Development

About the role

SPAN Digital is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of custom software development projects for clients in entertainment, technology and real‑estate. You will work closely with engineering teams and client stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, monitor and motivate cross‑functional project teams, removing obstacles and driving productivity.
• Define project scope, create comprehensive work plans and manage budgets from initiation to closure.
• Coordinate collaboration between internal engineers and external customers to achieve milestones.
• Execute multiple projects concurrently with remote and distributed teams, balancing shifting priorities.
• Mentor team members on delivery management and support their professional growth.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure engagement and quality outcomes.
• Utilise AI tools (e.g., Claude) to synthesize status, draft communications, identify risks and accelerate documentation.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience managing software development projects.
• Ability to adapt to varied methodologies, technologies and AI‑augmented workflows.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience leading remote, distributed teams.
