Senior Project Manager – Payroll Transformation

About the role

Our client in the mining sector is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead strategic payroll transformation projects. The role focuses on end‑to‑end SAP ECC Payroll and SuccessFactors implementations, working in a hybrid model with three days onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Drive project planning, execution, governance, and stakeholder engagement.
• Manage risk, schedule, scope, and budget to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate external implementation partners and ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Maintain rigorous project control mechanisms throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate across multiple business functions and geographies, including occasional alignment with Brazil business hours.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing large‑scale HR/payroll transformation projects.
• Proven track record with SAP ECC Payroll and SAP SuccessFactors.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Strong stakeholder, vendor, and leadership communication skills.
• Ability to work in both waterfall and agile environments.
