Senior Project Manager

About the role

SPAN Digital is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of custom software development initiatives for clients across entertainment, technology, and real‑estate sectors. You will partner with engineering teams and client stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, monitor, and motivate cross‑functional project teams, removing obstacles and driving productivity.
• Collaborate with internal engineers and external customers to define milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects with remote and distributed teams, balancing shifting priorities.
• Mentor team members on delivery management and support their professional growth.
• Build strong client relationships to ensure engagement and satisfaction.
• Define project scopes, create comprehensive work plans, and oversee budgets from initiation to closure.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude) to synthesize status updates, draft communications, identify risks, and accelerate documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading software development projects in a consulting or product environment.
• Strong ability to adapt to varied methodologies, technologies, and AI‑augmented workflows.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Track record of fostering positive team culture and mentoring engineers.

Required skills

• Project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) – as demonstrated in past roles.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted productivity tools (e.g., Claude) for project documentation and risk analysis.
