Senior Project Manager

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead high‑value water and sanitation projects from concept through to completion, based in the Western Cape. The role requires strong commercial, technical and leadership capabilities to deliver projects on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of water and industrial projects, from initiation to handover.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines, consultants, clients and subcontractors.
• Oversee commercial, contractual and legal aspects of projects.
• Ensure health & safety compliance, control project budgets, develop quality plans and mitigate risks.

Required profile

• BSc/BTech in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Civil Engineering.
• 10‑20 years of experience in industrial, water or wastewater sector projects.
• Proven track record managing complex project teams.
• In‑depth knowledge of quality control systems, procurement and commissioning of water sector projects.
• ECSA registration (strongly preferred).
• Sound knowledge of Conditions of Contract, particularly the FIDIC Yellow Book.
