Senior Professional Nurse - Theatre

About the role

The Senior Professional Nurse – Theatre will support the unit manager to ensure a safe, positive patient experience and coordinate high‑quality patient care within the theatre unit.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure comprehensive and safe patient care by mitigating risks and meeting clinical quality standards.
• Manage the patient experience throughout the surgical pathway.
• Maintain optimal supply, retention and utilisation of staffing resources.
• Empower and develop staff competence through continuous assessment and training.
• Assist with effective management of operational expenses, including stock and capital.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in General Nursing (essential).
• Minimum of 3 years post‑qualification nursing experience (essential).
