Senior Product Manager – Payments (Hybrid, Cape Town)

About the role

A leading online gaming company is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own its Payments Division. You will shape the customer‑facing deposit/withdrawal experience, expand payment options, and manage the wallet and balance functionality that underpins the cashier.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the product roadmap for the Cashier, including discovery, problem definition, and outcome measurement.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver new payment methods, wallet features, and integration projects.
• Collaborate with engineering and architecture to design complex integrations and set technical direction.
• Ensure compliance with regulated environments such as AML, KYC, PCI DSS, and responsible gambling.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager on digital web or app products, with ownership of payments, cashier, wallet or transactional solutions.
• Strong ability to translate business strategy into evidence‑based product direction and to operate in ambiguous, emerging product areas.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior leaders and aligning teams around shared outcomes.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of payment service providers, alternative payment methods, card schemes, e‑wallets and open banking.
• Experience with complex system integrations and platform architecture.
• Understanding of regulated environments, including AML, KYC, PCI DSS and responsible gambling requirements.
