Senior PMO Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Senior PMO Manager to join our Cape Town office. The role sits within the Transformation and Operations function and will act as the central hub for portfolio governance, ensuring that change initiatives are prioritised, structured and resourced from inception to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust and credibility with internal and external stakeholders, including Directors and Partners.
• Partner with Transformation, Operations and wider business teams to embed a strong change‑governance culture.
• Collaborate with the Senior Portfolio Manager to allocate resources, manage change requests and keep projects aligned with firm strategy.
• Define, own and implement benefits, risk and issue management policies, processes, tools and techniques.
• Develop and enforce governance standards, providing coaching and communication to ensure compliance.
• Facilitate key change committees and forums, guiding business case creation and strategic alignment.
• Own reporting processes, create templates and educate teams on delivering clear, timely information.

Required profile

• Thoughtful professional with the ability to see the big picture while staying grounded in details.
• Proven experience in portfolio governance, change management or PMO leadership.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust across senior stakeholders.
• Curious, adaptable and committed to delivering meaningful outcomes in a legal services environment.
