Senior .NET Software Engineer

About the role

Entelect is looking for a Senior .NET Software Engineer to build world-class web and mobile applications for leading organisations in South Africa. The role sits in a multidisciplinary environment with regular one-on-ones with leadership and focuses on delivery, mentoring and customer success.

Key responsibilities

• Develop web and mobile applications for clients in South Africa.
• Improve product quality through containerisation and continuous integration, supporting a DevOps culture.
• Work through the SDLC, from system design to analysis, scoping and estimation.
• Research and implement new technologies in projects.
• Mentor colleagues and champion change within the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage customer expectations while ensuring compliance with data security and industry regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience as a software engineer in an enterprise environment.
• Ability to architect small projects in an enterprise setting and strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Prohibitive hybrid model: working from the office on average 2-3 times per week.
