Senior Manager – Invest SA (One Stop Shop)

About the role

The Senior Manager – Invest SA will lead the one‑stop‑shop function that connects GGDA clients with regulatory bodies, national entities and private sector partners. Reporting to the Group Executive for Trade, Investment and Regulatory Enablement, the incumbent will drive process automation, stakeholder engagement and efficient service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational processes for the one‑stop‑shop interface between GGDA clients and business regulatory departments.
• Negotiate, finalise and manage MoUs and Service Level Agreements with Invest SA partner departments, regulatory bodies, municipalities and private sector organisations.
• Automate procedures and maintain a digital client‑interface system to ensure timely responses.
• Establish and nurture relationships with economic development agencies, business advisory firms, foreign embassies and trade organisations.
• Monitor monthly budgets and ensure compliance with financial guidelines.
• Design stakeholder engagement plans, organise quarterly sessions and manage critical relationships with Invest SA national entities.
• Develop escalation mechanisms, oversee SLA implementation and report progress to senior management.

Required profile

• Postgraduate degree or NQF Level 7 qualification in Commerce, Public Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years experience in multinational investment, foreign/local investment facilitation, economic development, IT or process design.
• Strong knowledge of the business environment and key role‑players.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interacting at all organisational levels.
