Senior IT Manager – Enterprise Systems

About the role

The Senior IT Manager will shape and execute the enterprise‑wide IT strategy that supports the company’s corporate, commercial and operational activities. Reporting to senior leadership, the role focuses on enterprise applications, cloud platforms, data governance, cybersecurity and service delivery, operating independently of the network and telco infrastructure teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define a 3‑5‑year IT roadmap aligned with business objectives and establish governance frameworks based on ISO and ITIL standards.
• Own the full lifecycle of enterprise applications, ensuring seamless integration between ServiceNow, Sage 300, Google Workspace and Microsoft Azure.
• Architect, deploy and manage Azure workloads, including virtual machines, identity (Entra ID), secure connectivity and disaster‑recovery capabilities.
• Lead IT service delivery across all units, maintaining SLAs/OLAs, incident, problem and change management via ServiceNow.
• Develop and enforce a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy covering identity, endpoint, cloud security and data protection, ensuring compliance with POPIA and ISO 27001.
• Establish data‑governance frameworks and enable reporting and analytics for finance, operations and customer metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience defining and executing enterprise‑level IT strategies.
• Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks (ISO, ITIL) and enterprise architecture.
• Hands‑on expertise managing Azure cloud environments and related cost‑optimization, resilience and security.
• Extensive experience with ServiceNow ITSM, Google Workspace, and Sage 300 ERP.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cybersecurity initiatives and data‑governance programs.
