Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Linux Systems

About the role

Join a high‑impact team responsible for designing, building and maintaining high‑availability Linux infrastructure that supports critical global operations. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with international partners to ensure resilient, encrypted and secure production platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain Linux servers (SUSE, Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS) with a focus on high availability and security.
• Automate configuration and provisioning using Ansible and scripting (Bash, Perl, Python).
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, and optimise resource usage.
• Implement backup, recovery and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Apply security best practices, including patch management, firewalls and SELinux policies.

Required profile

• Relevant IT degree.
• 7+ years of proven experience in Linux infrastructure engineering.
• Strong command‑line expertise and shell‑scripting skills.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewall).
• Experience with package management (apt, yum, rpm) and Linux desktop environments (GNOME, KDE, XFCE).
