Senior Human Resources Manager – Corporate Stores Division

About the role

The Senior Human Resources Manager will lead the strategic and operational HR function for the Corporate Stores Division, based in Jet Park. Reporting to senior leadership, you will partner with retail operations across South Rand, North Rand and Lowveld regions to drive people strategies that support business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide HR and operational services to corporate stores in multiple regions.
• Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders, including retailers and retail operations teams.
• Manage remuneration, benefits, and budgeting, including expense forecasting.
• Lead strategic talent management, succession planning and ensure recruitment aligns with employment equity targets.
• Oversee training and development initiatives and manage third‑party relationships such as SETA and service providers.
• Advise the executive team on performance management and employee engagement programmes.
• Identify and mitigate potential HR risks to the business.

Required profile

• National Senior Certificate (Matric) and a tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management.
• 5–10 years of HR management experience, preferably in a unionised environment.
• Extensive knowledge of South African labour legislation, CCMA conciliations and arbitrations.
• Proven track record in talent identification, people development and training facilitation.
• High integrity, strong relationship‑building and leadership capabilities.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of MS Outlook.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
