Senior Foreman – Finishing (Western Cape)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Foreman to lead finishing works on commercial and residential projects in the Western Cape. The role involves overseeing daily site activities, coordinating teams and subcontractors, and ensuring that all work meets quality, safety and schedule requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily on‑site operations and manage the workflow of finishing trades.
• Coordinate labour, subcontractors and material deliveries to keep projects on schedule.
• Ensure projects are completed to the required standards and within agreed timelines.
• Enforce health and safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
• Report progress, issues and site performance to project management.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years proven experience as a Senior Foreman.
• Minimum NQF Level 4/5; NQF Level 6 advantageous.
• Red Seal Certificate and MBA are advantageous.
• Residency in the Western Cape.
• Solid experience in both commercial and residential construction.
• Experience in structural, wet trades and finishing works.
• Strong leadership and site supervision abilities.
• Ability to manage teams, timelines and quality standards.
• Good understanding of construction drawings and site safety.
