Senior Financial Adviser

About the role

We are looking for a senior Financial Adviser to manage complex client and intermediary portfolios in Malmesbury. The role involves providing thought‑leadership on advice solutions, influencing distribution strategy and safeguarding long‑term outcomes for clients and the business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute relationship‑management plans for existing customers, engaging decision‑makers and influencers to ensure two‑way communication and issue resolution.
• Provide specialist advice on policies and procedures, handling queries and escalating complex matters as needed.
• Deliver financial advice tailored to the demographic and needs of the assigned client base.
• Lead pricing and terms negotiations within approved limits and manage structured pricing projects.
• Clarify customer needs during sales calls, customise presentations and gather information to assess interest and address gaps.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, capable of advising others.
• Undergraduate or Honours degree.
• Limited managerial experience (0‑3 months).

• Advanced verbal communication.
• Advanced ability to build rapport and maintain relationships.
• Competence in closing sales, initiating compelling conversations and understanding intermediary processes.
