Senior Finance Manager – FP&A & Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to lead FP&A and financial control for a multi‑entity group operating in Australia and the UK. Reporting to the Global CEO, you will own month‑end close, reporting, cash‑flow management, budgeting and commercial analysis while managing outsourced accounting partners.

Key responsibilities

• Own month‑end close, management reporting, reconciliations and financial controls across all entities.
• Review and sign‑off outsourced accounting deliverables; maintain audit‑ready records.
• Prepare monthly management and Board reports covering P&L, budget vs. actuals, SKU margins, contribution and cash position.
• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, cost control and variance analysis.
• Build and maintain a 3‑year three‑way financial model (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Manage 13‑week cash‑flow forecasts, payment runs, debt schedules and AUD/GBP currency exposure.
• Oversee partner billing, receivables and finance processes for the UK distribution model.
• Support S&OP, pricing, landed costs, SKU economics, trade spend and new product launches.
• Develop SOPs, improve processes and integrate Xero with operational data for reliable reporting.
• Build dashboards, automate workflows and use AI tools for analysis and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with GST/BAS, VAT, payroll, WorkCover and other statutory requirements.
• Act as finance business partner to Australian and UK leadership teams, providing commercially focused recommendations.

Required profile

• CA, CPA or ACCA qualified with 6+ years in Finance Manager, Financial Controller or FP&A roles.
• Proven multi‑entity experience managing month‑end close and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of cash‑flow, three‑way modelling, COGS, landed costs and SKU‑level margins.
• Excellent English communication and confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Availability to work across Australian and UK business hours.
