Senior Enterprise Account Executive – South Africa

About the role

Orchard is looking for a senior sales leader to own and grow an enterprise territory across South Africa, serving large growers, farm‑management companies, and institutional landowners. You will manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and value‑case development to closing high‑value deals and expanding multi‑region accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Own and grow an enterprise territory representing 100,000+ serviceable acres, closing high‑stakes, high‑value contracts.
• Generate pipeline through industry relationships, targeted outbound prospecting, and participation in trade shows and events.
• Lead the full sales cycle, including discovery, in‑field demos, ROI development, negotiation, and contract close.
• Maintain accurate forecasts, disciplined CRM management, and seamless handoffs to deployment and customer‑success teams.
• Represent Orchard at industry events, trade shows, and on‑farm demonstrations.

Required profile

• 3‑7+ years of agriculture or ag‑tech sales experience with a strong grounding in farming practices.
• Proven track record of closing six‑figure enterprise contracts.
• Deep understanding of the agricultural sales cycle and farm decision‑making processes.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Willingness to travel ~25% of the time and to the United States for onboarding and customer visits.
