Senior Electrical Training Facilitator

About the role

The Senior Facilitator/Instructor – Electrical will lead the technical training programme for interns and apprentices in the electrical discipline at Resolution Circle’s Johannesburg workshop. The role combines classroom instruction, hands‑on workshop supervision, health & safety management and administrative oversight to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical training to interns/learners covering electrical theory and practical workshop tasks.
• Mentor, coach and assess learners, including reviewing logbooks and signing off competency records.
• Conduct daily inspections of workshop equipment, tools and machines; manage maintenance schedules and stock of consumables.
• Identify hazards, perform risk assessments and enforce health & safety procedures in line with ISO standards.
• Prepare, monitor and control departmental training budgets, quotations and programme planning.
• Manage learner attendance, punctuality and disciplinary matters in collaboration with HR.
• Interview, assess and select candidates for learnership or internship programmes.
• Produce and upload training modules, accreditation documentation and monthly reports to the Training Manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering electrical workshop training to interns or apprentices.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations, risk assessment and ISO compliance.
• Ability to mentor, coach and evaluate learner performance and logbooks.
• Good organisational skills for budgeting, scheduling and reporting.
• Experience managing workshop tools, equipment maintenance and stock control.
