Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer (EPCM)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to lead EPCM projects for a reputable engineering consulting firm. The role involves end‑to‑end responsibility for E&I and control systems engineering, design, procurement, installation and commissioning across local and international sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead E&I and control systems project engineering from concept to commissioning.
• Design and develop electrical (HV, MV, LV) and instrumentation solutions for large industrial plants.
• Manage product development, procurement, installation and on‑site commissioning activities.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and network communication documents.
• Support pricing, tendering and budgeting processes using appropriate tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Pr Eng/Pr Tech Eng preferred).
• Minimum 6 years experience in electrical & instrumentation and control systems engineering and construction.
• At least 4 years experience in plant commissioning.
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications (technical, management or business) are advantageous.

Required skills

• HV, MV & LV system design and implementation.
• Control systems design and integration.
• Plant commissioning expertise.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards.
• Interpretation of drawings, specifications and network communication.
• Pricing, tendering and budgeting proficiency.
• Advanced use of MS Office applications (spreadsheets, Word, PowerPoint).
