Senior Data Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead the management and governance of investment data across our enterprise data model. The role ensures data is accurate, consistent, and fit for business consumption, supporting reporting, analytics and downstream systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage trusted investment data across the enterprise model, maintaining completeness, accessibility and business relevance.
• Maintain data lineage, metadata, classifications and transformation rules for portfolios, funds, instruments, holdings, transactions and returns.
• Design and embed quality controls into data ingestion and transformation processes, applying business rules, validation checks and tolerances.
• Automate recurring checks, reconciliations and reporting‑support processes to reduce manual effort and operational risk.
• Define, monitor and enforce data‑quality standards for critical data elements, providing visibility of exceptions and remediation status.
• Investigate data breaks, drive root‑cause resolution and collaborate with data owners.
• Support controlled integration of internal, third‑party and manual data sources into the common enterprise foundation.
• Ensure certified data and metadata are available to target systems, reporting portals, dashboards and automation assets.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in investment data and data governance.
• Proven ability to engage with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Experience in designing data controls, validation frameworks and automated data processes.
• Solid understanding of data lineage, metadata management and enterprise data modelling.
