Senior Consultant – IT & Specialized Assurance (Remote)

About the role

Join Deloitte Denmark Audit & Assurance as a Senior Consultant in the IT & Specialized Assurance team, working remotely from South Africa. You will help clients assess technology, processes and controls to manage financial and operational risks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform interviews, guide junior staff and act as the main client contact.
• Test design, implementation and operating effectiveness of IT controls and provide solid, risk‑based advice.
• Deliver both audit and advisory assignments, covering small engagements to long‑term projects.
• Support internal audit functions and provide insights to executive management.

Required profile

• University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in IT Audit, IT Assurance or Third‑Party Assurance, preferably at a large professional services firm.
• Strong analytical, communication and time‑management skills; fluent in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• IT audit of ERP platforms such as SAP GRC and S/4 HANA.
• Experience with Windows environments and SQL databases.
• Knowledge of GDPR, ISAE 3402, ISAE 3000 and SOC 2 reporting standards.
