Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer with deep AWS expertise to own and evolve a high‑transaction infrastructure. You will design, provision, and maintain scalable cloud services using Terraform and Ansible, ensuring security, performance, and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS architectures (VPC, ALB, WAF, ECS, RDS, Lambda, storage, etc.) using Terraform.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for automated configuration and deployments across multi‑tier environments.
• Apply cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and secrets management.
• Monitor system health, perform capacity planning, and resolve production incidents.
• Mentor team members on cloud‑native patterns and promote an automation‑first culture.
• Identify cost‑optimization opportunities and implement savings recommendations.
• Document infrastructure designs, processes, and troubleshooting guides.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps, preferably in high‑transaction or fintech environments.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to deliver solutions quickly.
• Proven track record of designing production‑grade AWS solutions.

Required skills

• AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, VPC, Route53, Load Balancers, Nginx.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (state management, modular design).
• Configuration management: Ansible.
• Container orchestration: ECS or Kubernetes.
• Scripting: Python, Bash.
• Monitoring: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog.
• Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
