Senior Brand Manager

About the role

The Senior Brand Manager will lead the strategic development, growth and positioning of key FMCG brands for our client. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will drive brand performance through integrated campaigns, product innovation and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute long‑term brand strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
• Lead integrated ATL, BTL, digital, PR, social media and experiential marketing campaigns.
• Identify market opportunities and steer new product development from concept to launch.
• Manage packaging, product claims and branding initiatives with cross‑functional teams.
• Own brand profitability, budgeting, forecasting, pricing and ROI analysis.
• Oversee digital marketing, social platforms, influencer programmes and e‑commerce initiatives.
• Analyse consumer insights, market trends and competitor activity to uncover growth opportunities.
• Commission and interpret market research to support strategic decisions.
• Build strong relationships with sales, supply chain, finance, legal and external agencies.
• Mentor junior brand team members and foster a high‑performance culture.
• Present performance results and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Lead Corporate Social Investment initiatives aligned with brand purpose.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field; honours or postgraduate qualification advantageous.
• 7–12 years of brand management experience in an FMCG environment.
• At least 3 years in a senior brand management or leadership role.
• Proven track record of successful brand strategies, marketing campaigns and new product launches.
• Strong understanding of traditional and digital marketing channels.
• Experience managing brand budgets, profitability and financial performance.
