Senior Blue Yonder WMS Consultant (Remote, 5‑6 months)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior WMS Consultant with deep expertise in Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) Warehouse Management Systems to join us on a 5–6 month contract basis. This hands‑on, techno‑functional role bridges operational warehouse challenges with technical system solutions, focusing on retail warehouse environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead configuration and implementation of Blue Yonder WMS, setting up zones, locations, picking strategies and replenishment rules.
• Write and optimise SQL/PLSQL scripts, develop custom Jasper or SCL reports and Power BI/React dashboards.
• Analyse current warehouse processes, produce BRDs, SOPs and process maps, and recommend system‑driven improvements.
• Provide first‑line support (Level 1‑3), manage SIT/UAT, oversee go‑live and post‑go‑live support, and conduct user training.

Required profile

• 5+ years hands‑on experience with Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS, including Red Prairie.
• Strong technical background in SQL/PLSQL and report development (Jasper, SCL).
• Proven end‑to‑end WMS implementation experience in retail distribution environments.
• Experience with system integration, middleware and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) integration.
• Ability to create BRDs, SOPs and functional design documents, and deliver user training.
