About the role
Our client is a leading automotive wholesaler that supplies high‑quality pre‑owned vehicles across Gauteng. The Senior Automotive Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating and purchasing used cars, bakkies and SUVs to meet market demand.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect and assess vehicles at clients’ premises.
- Negotiate purchase prices with clients.
- Complete purchase agreements and ensure all required documentation is finalised.
- Build and maintain positive client relationships.
Required profile
- National Senior Certificate (Matric).
- Valid driver’s licence.
- 1–2 years’ experience in motor‑vehicle purchasing or sales within the used‑vehicle industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and a personable, approachable attitude.
- Highly confident and self‑assured.
What we offer
- Basic salary of R11 000 per month.
- Commission ranging approximately from R20 000 to R50 000 per month.
