About the role
Lexdan Select is supporting a New Zealand‑based accountancy firm in hiring a Senior Accountant. The position is fully remote and offers a competitive monthly salary.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements for a portfolio of clients.
- Manage VAT returns and ensure timely, accurate tax compliance.
- Oversee junior accountants, providing guidance and feedback.
- Liaise directly with clients on financial and tax matters.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Support process improvements and promote best practices within the accounting team.
- Stay current with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of VAT and tax regulations.
- Proven experience preparing financial statements.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or an equivalent qualification.

What we offer
- Salary range: R35 000 – R50 000 per month.
