Senior Account Executive & Project Lead – Interior Design

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Client Account Executive for a leading up‑market design company in Johannesburg. The role combines account management, project leadership and on‑site coordination within the commercial interior design sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and nurture client relationships from initial contact through project handover.
• Lead internal project teams of 6‑10 members, coordinating design, procurement and site execution.
• Develop preliminary and final budgets, oversee financial performance and ensure projects stay within scope, timeline and budget.
• Conduct client, professional team and site meetings, and supervise documentation and drawing reviews.
• Drive sales activities to close deals and maintain business growth.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in account or project management within construction, interior design, engineering or architecture.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously under pressure.
• Strong sales aptitude with a track record of closing deals.
• Excellent administrative, negotiation and communication skills.

What we offer

• CTC ranging from R50 000 to R70 000 per month, dependent on experience and qualifications.
• Full‑time permanent position based onsite in Johannesburg.
