About the role
Tactical Security Services is seeking a qualified Technician to join our team in Bluff, Durban. The role focuses on installing, maintaining and repairing CCTV and alarm systems for a range of commercial and residential clients.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure and test CCTV cameras and related hardware.
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on CCTV networks.
- Install, commission and service alarm systems, including sensors and control panels.
- Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Adhere to safety standards and company procedures while on site.
Required profile
- Valid PSIRA Grade C certification (preferred).
- Previous experience in the technical security industry.
- Valid driver’s licence (advantageous).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
