Security Technician – CCTV & Alarm Systems

About the role

Tactical Security Services is seeking a qualified Technician to join our team in Bluff, Durban. The role focuses on installing, maintaining and repairing CCTV and alarm systems for a range of commercial and residential clients.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and test CCTV cameras and related hardware.
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on CCTV networks.
• Install, commission and service alarm systems, including sensors and control panels.
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Adhere to safety standards and company procedures while on site.

Required profile

• Valid PSIRA Grade C certification (preferred).
• Previous experience in the technical security industry.
• Valid driver’s licence (advantageous).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
