Security Operations Analyst – AI Training (Remote)

About the role

Join Alignerr as a Security Operations Analyst focused on AI training. You will work with leading AI research labs to shape how next‑generation AI systems detect, investigate, and respond to real‑world security incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze realistic SOC scenarios—including alerts, incidents, and investigations—to determine impact and relevance.
• Classify threat severity, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate response actions.
• Review detection logic, triage workflows, and investigation methodologies for accuracy and completeness.
• Evaluate AI‑generated security outputs and validate they reflect analyst best practices.
• Provide structured, expert feedback that improves AI reasoning on security events.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in SOC, incident response, or security operations.
• Solid familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert triage, and investigation workflows.
• Ability to distinguish genuine threat signals from noise and false positives.
• Comfortable handling ambiguous scenarios and documenting reasoning clearly.
• Detail‑oriented with strong written communication skills.
