About the role
ARAMCO MINING is hiring Security Officers in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The role covers day-to-day site access control and visitor management, including handling contractor cards, checking visitors and operating boom gates.
Key responsibilities
- Hand out and collect contractor access cards
- Call the armed response or SAPS number from the call list when needed
- Search vehicles and bags leaving the site when company policy requires it
- Open and close boom gates for residents, deliveries and contractors
- Check visitors' IDs and record them on the visitor app or in the gate register
Required profile
- PSIRA registration at Grade C or higher, paid up to date
- Grade 10 minimum; matric preferred
- Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends
Required skills
- Basic English spoken and written
- Clear, neat handwriting for the OB and registers
