About the role
The Metsimaholo Local Municipality is recruiting seasonal cashiers and general workers to support its Finance and Technical Services directorates. These positions are temporary and aim to provide essential services to the community during the busy period.
Key responsibilities
- Interact with customers, handle payment enquiries and provide information on tariffs.
- Reconcile cash received against receipts and verify cash receipt schedules before processing.
- Perform general manual duties as required in parks, recreation and technical services, including physical tasks and site maintenance.
Required profile
- Cashier: Grade 12 certificate, 6‑9 months cashier experience, computer literacy and good communication skills.
- General worker: Minimum Grade 10 (Matric advantageous), physically fit, able to pass a fitness test and medical check‑up.
