About the role
ADvTECH is advertising a permanent Driver position at Pinnacle College Rynfield – High School in Benoni, Gauteng. The driver operates school vehicles in an environment involving students, educators and administrative staff, and contributes to the safe and efficient running of the school's transport.
Key responsibilities
- Drive the assigned bus or vehicle safely and on time.
- Clean the bus and keep it in a clean, presentable condition.
- Refuel the vehicle when necessary.
- Complete daily vehicle checklists and report any concerns found.
- Perform general housekeeping and basic vehicle maintenance; advanced mechanical repairs are not required.
- Carry out other miscellaneous tasks as needed and work overtime when required.
Required profile
- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
- Valid Code EB driver's licence and a valid Professional Driving Permit.
- At least three years of relevant experience in the same or a similar position.
- Fluent in English and good eyesight.
- Punctual, reliable, trustworthy and able to work with students and staff.
- Willing to work overtime.
