About the role
We are looking for a Scanner Operator to join our medical records team. The role involves preparing discharged patient records, creating digital copies through scanning, and ensuring the scanners are clean and well‑maintained.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and prepare patient records for scanning.
- Operate scanners to create accurate digital copies of documentation.
- Perform daily cleaning and routine maintenance of two dedicated scanners.
Required profile
- Grade 12 education (essential).
- At least 1 year of administrative experience in a healthcare setting (2 years preferred).
- Understanding of patient confidentiality, POPI Act, and patient administration policies.
Required skills
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook.
- Experience using Nextimage Scanning Software.
