SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0 Consultant

About the role

Accenture's Reinvention Services team is looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0 Consultant in Midrand. You will act as a functional subject matter expert, designing, configuring and delivering onboarding solutions that meet operational and compliance needs while creating a great new-hire experience. The role involves managing team performance, taking responsibility for decisions within the onboarding workstream and contributing to key project decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the functional SME for Onboarding 2.0, validating requirements and workflows with stakeholders and driving delivery best practices and quality standards.
• Develop functional specifications and configuration designs covering panels, process variants, roles, tasks, email notifications and document management, and support proof of concept and UAT.
• Work with HR Operations, IT, Recruiting, Employee Central and Change Management, and engage client stakeholders to validate requirements and manage expectations.
• Facilitate design workshops, process walkthroughs and UAT, and support change management and training for HR administrators and hiring managers.
• Share expertise with team members, guide the resolution of complex functional issues, and contribute to practice development and methodology improvement.

Required profile

• Proven hands-on SAP SuccessFactors experience, with a strong focus on Onboarding 2.0 implementation and configuration.
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, information technology, business administration or a related field.
• SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding certification (required); Employee Central or Recruiting certification advantageous.
• Client-facing consulting or project delivery experience, ideally in a systems integrator or professional services environment.
• Experience with full-cycle Onboarding 2.0 implementations and structured delivery methods such as Agile, Activate or equivalent.
• Knowledge of South African employment onboarding documentation and POPIA data privacy is advantageous.
