Digital & Tech Partner

About the role

Haleon is looking for a Digital & Tech Partner in Johannesburg to own the delivery and support of site-based digital workplace services across its commercial sites. The role is primarily hands-on and in-person, resolving day-to-day technical issues and applying cyber security practices on site, in partnership with central Digital & Tech functions and third-party providers. It is the single point of accountability for site technology support and the local contact between site leadership and the Digital & Tech teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own day-to-day technology service delivery, support routine checks of critical equipment, maintain the local asset inventory and support planned upgrades, migrations and roll-outs
• Manage service level agreements and incident resolution, act as escalation point, represent the site on incident calls and help implement permanent fixes
• Engage with local leadership, functional teams and end users, and build partnerships with D&T functions and third-party providers
• Deliver short, practical training on digital workplace capabilities and encourage self-service and secure processes
• Provide in-person support for the digital workplace, including conference rooms, AV and hybrid meeting technology, and onboarding and offboarding
• Act as on-site contact for cyber security queries, ensure endpoint security and access management are applied, and escalate suspected security incidents

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT support, desktop support or digital workplace roles (2-4+ years)
• Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft productivity tools, collaboration and video conferencing platforms, and basic networking concepts
• Awareness of basic cyber security principles
• Preferred: AV and meeting room technology experience, cyber or information security background, relevant certifications (Networking, Security, Microsoft, ITIL), and experience in a regulated environment such as health, finance, government or critical infrastructure
