Sales Team Lead – US Corporate Finance (On‑site, Cape Town)

About the role

Fundwell is seeking a Sales Team Lead to drive US corporate finance sales from its Cape Town office. This front‑line leadership position combines team management with personal sales activity on a high‑volume dialer.

Key responsibilities

• Drive daily, weekly and monthly BDR productivity to meet verified application volume targets.
• Lead structured daily huddles and live call‑coaching sessions, demonstrating real‑time objection handling.
• Monitor and report critical metrics such as volume, decline rates, approval ratios and funded outcomes.
• Identify under‑performance early and apply corrective coaching or Performance Improvement Plans.
• Personally submit at least five qualifying applications per month, tracked separately from team targets.
• Maintain full compliance with Fundwell’s ethical standards and keep team decline rate below 60%.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading Business Development Representative teams in a sales environment.
• Demonstrated ability to meet personal sales targets while coaching others.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven performance management.
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to ethical sales practices.

Required skills

• Experience with sales dialer platforms.
