Sales Representative – Western Region (Medical Devices)

About the role

The client, a leading medical devices and healthcare company, is looking for a driven Sales Representative to grow specialised surgical portfolios across the Western region. The role combines sales growth, in‑theatre clinical support and strong relationship building with surgeons and hospital teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and achieve territory targets for surgical devices, capital equipment and integrated healthcare solutions.
• Develop and execute territory plans to increase market share and expand customer accounts.
• Manage the full sales cycle – prospecting, quotations, tenders, negotiations and closing.
• Provide in‑theatre clinical support, product demonstrations, evaluations and training to surgeons and theatre staff.
• Promote integrated theatre solutions, workflow optimisation technologies and digital healthcare systems.
• Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, theatre teams, biomedical departments, procurement and hospital management.
• Support new product launches, clinical education initiatives and solution‑selling opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM reporting, forecasts, market intelligence and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Medical Sciences, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in medical device sales, preferably within surgical environments.
• Proven track record in capital equipment and/or surgical device sales.
• Experience engaging with surgeons, theatre staff and hospital management.
• Willingness to work in theatre settings, including irregular hours, and ability to travel extensively within the territory.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of operating theatre workflows and sterile environments.
